Li van donar 9 mesos de vida. No era prou fort per rebre quimioter\u00e0pia. El c\u00e0ncer es va estendre als seus ossos, fetge i altres indrets. La met\u00e0stasi \u00f2ssia va provocar un dolor terrible. No hi havia cl\u00ednica del dolor. Per al dolor extrem, se li va administrar una epidural un cop per setmana. Mentrestant, hi havia diversos medicaments per a dolors lleus i tranquil\u00b7litzants, els medicaments casolans habituals.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Manolo va dir que si hagu\u00e9s tingut una arma s&#8217;hauria enganxat un tret, at\u00e8s que el dolor era insuportable.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Estava indefens. Els metges, encara que molt atents, no tenien solucions. Veure un \u00e9sser estimat recargolar-se de dolor, deixa cicatrius per a la resta de la vida.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Arran de la meva experi\u00e8ncia de col\u00b7laboraci\u00f3 amb un hospice al Regne Unit, ara s\u00e9 que no hi ha necessitat que ning\u00fa mori amb tant patiment afegit. El dolor f\u00edsic, social, emocional i espiritual (dolor total) avui dia poden ser atesos per a una millor experi\u00e8ncia del proc\u00e9s de morir.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Tots experimentem morir, per\u00f2 gr\u00e0cies a les cures hospice, el proc\u00e9s pot ser viscut d&#8217;una forma m\u00e9s serena i humanitzada.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Uneix-te a nosaltres perqu\u00e8 aix\u00f2 passi.
